Louis Darvin began his business in 1920 by selling furniture door to door using catalog pictures. As he became renowned as the furniture expert, offering high-quality furniture and low prices, his customer base grew. His son David became his business partner, and they opened their first store in Chicago together in the early 1940s.
In the 1970s, David’s sons Marty and Steve joined the family business. After David’s passing in 2005, Marty and Steve continued their father’s and grandfather’s tradition of selling great furniture at low prices. Steve and Marty continue to run the business with the same principles of exceptional quality, service and value to their customers.
