Groundbreaking Signals Start of Construction For New Enhancements to Darvin Furniture Retail Showroom

According to Lori Stengren, VP Sales, Merchandising and Marketing, the upcoming renovations will elevate the visual presence of the Darvin Furniture exterior façade while providing additional interior space for more displays. The Darvin Furniture showroom, 15400 LaGrange Road, Orland Park, IL, currently offers more than 200,000 square feet of display space.

"For years, our customers have been telling us the inside of showroom is so much bigger than it appears from the outside," Stengren explains. "This new construction will significantly enhance the visual impact of the exterior façade to more accurately reflect the vast showroom we offer inside."

While initial construction will be focused on the exterior impact, Strengen says the interior will also benefit from a new entrance which will provide three times the space of the current entryway. "Our new vestibule will greet customers with a beautiful, rounded, glass enclosure that will set a friendly and inviting tone for the service and selection they can expect inside the store."
