Promotion to Director of Sales

Orland Park, IL, October 1, 2019 – Darvin Furniture & Mattress, Chicagoland’s largest furniture and mattress store, 15400 La Grange Road, Orland Park, IL, has announced the promotion of Vicky Georgiadis to the director of sales position. The announcement was made by Hanny Diab, vice president of merchandising, marketing & sales for the 99-year-old furniture business.

A sales manager with Darvin Furniture since joining the company in 2015, Georgiadis has decades of industry experience that will help her in the newly-created director of sales position. Responsible for more than 100 sales staff, she will be responsible for training, developing and coaching the sales managers and sales staff, while elevating Darvin to an even higher degree of service and success.

“Vicky deserves the role of director of sales,” says Diab, who was promoted to his VP position earlier this year. “She embodies the Darvin values and we are confident that she will do great.”

Georgiadis says she is especially excited to begin building on the long-standing reputation established at Darvin Furniture. “We have a tradition of being the leader in our market in several categories, but I’m especially excited to continue raising the bar for our customers’ sales experience,” she says. “Our sales staff is authentic, warm, welcoming and funny.
