Darvin Furniture awards dozens of prizes
in annual Furniture Giveaway
Orland Park, IL, February 10, 2022 – Every year Darvin Furniture & Mattress gives away hundreds of thousands of dollars in
furniture prizes to customers who visit the Orland Park showroom and put in an entry form. On Sunday, January 2, Darvin welcomed the new
year by drawing dozens of winners.

Darvin Sales Manager Brent Rowader had the pleasure of contacting many of the winners and notifying them that they were winners in
the Darvin Furniture Giveaway. "I really enjoyed letting customers know they had won a prize in our drawing," says Rowader. "It seems
these days people really do need to get good news, and I could hear the excitement in their voices when I told
them they were winners."
For Rhonda Johnson of Olympia Fields, the start of 2022 was especially happy. She was the Grand Prize winner, taking home a power
reclining Southern Motion sectional from Darvin that retailed at $4,899. Johnson says she was in the Orland Park showroom looking for
sectionals before the holidays and filled out one of the entry forms.
"I almost didn't fill the entry form out because nobody ever wins these raffles, right? I have never won anything in my life. Forty-four
years and I've never won anything! Until now."
"My new sectional fits perfectly in my room. I love it! It has given me an opportunity to do some redecorating, too," says Johnson.
Aurora resident Heather Warthen was the winner of a Napa Lingerie Chest. She says she visited Darvin the day after Thanksgiving to
look for a new couch and media center, which they bought at Darvin.
"After visiting several other furniture stores, we finally found exactly what we were looking for and both pieces were in stock!
On our way out, I noticed the sign for the contest and decided to enter," she says. "The Napa Chest is absolutely gorgeous and it will
fit perfectly in our guest bedroom! Plus, I'm excited to have another quality piece from Darvin Furniture in our home."
According to Rowader, all of the winners he spoke to were very enthusiastic and excited to pick up their prizes. "It was such a
great feeling to be calling our customers up and telling them they were winners. Our customers are so important to us here at Darvin
and it is great to be able to give back."
